What a mother wants. What a baby needs. Inspired by the birth of his granddaughter Owen Maclaren invented an umbrella-fold baby buggy in 1965. With the success of his original idea Owen Maclaren decided to go into production and make his Baby Buggy available to the public in 1967. Soon production grew to nearly 600,000 Baby buggies, of which 280,000 were shipped over seas. The Maclaren business was growing fast and showed no sign of stopping, with new products coming out every year. Sadly, Owen Maclaren passed away in 1978, but not without leaving behind a great legacy and an amazing line of baby products. Despite the loss of its founder Maclaren continues to set the industry standards for innovation and safety of baby products.
Today, Maclaren Baby is one of the most reliable and dedicated baby stroller manufactures on the market. The Maclaren line has now taken on a more contemporary look with exciting new products including their twin strollers, and baby carriers. It´s ok, I thought it would be more lightweight that it is. So far, so good.

Comments about Buggy Bag for Maclaren Strollers:
Really did keep stroller clean and safer from damage - airline employees will throw the strollers around. But, was a mess to carry through security. Had to remove stroller from bag for the x-ray machine, or the guards would ask us to check bag at check-in desk...always had to explain. Also, bag doesn't fit in basket of stroller well at all.

Comments about Buggy Bag for Maclaren Strollers:
This bag is so flimsy, it rips in a different place each time I use it. I've already repaired it once. Next stop: the garbage. Save your money and don't let Maclaren make any more profit on a clearly subpar product.

Comments about Buggy Bag for Maclaren Strollers:
Though its a bit bulky to get it to the gate at the airport (it does come in a bag to carry it); it is easy to slip the stroller into at the gate and check gate-side. It well protects the stroller from the normal cargo wear and tear (and the cost of these strollers is worth protecting).
Comments about Buggy Bag for Maclaren Strollers:
I purchased this bag over the non-brand specific stroller carriers because I thought it would do a better job of protecting my stroller. I think it did. However, there are some issues -- like the stitching on one seam looks like it's coming apart. The bag is also awkward -- as we wheeled it along, it kept rolling over toward one side. Additionally, the bag didn't fit in the stroller basket.

Comments about Buggy Bag for Maclaren Strollers:
i was truly disappointed with this maclaren bag - purchased specifically for our maclaren techno XLR. i figured since it was the same brand, the XLR (largest maclaren umbrella stroller) would fit fine, but it didn't. the bag also ripped the first time we used it while gate checking our stroller. sorely disappointed, as i expected a much better value for my money - especially with the maclaren name behind the product. [...] it was not worth it whatsoever!

Comments about Buggy Bag for Maclaren Strollers:
I bought this bag specifically to use at the bottom of the jetway when I'm traveling. I thought the wheels would make it easier to transport through the airport, but what I failed to remember is that, first, my baby will usually be IN the stroller, and second, my stroller only weighs 11 pounds which isn't too heavy for me to carry. I found that the wheels and the partial structured flat bottom of the bag make it heavier and less collapsible than my intended use necessitates. I need now need a separate bag to carry the stroller as it does not fit in the diaper bag - which means one too many bags to bring through security! Quality of the bag is excellent - a good value for other uses.
Comments about Buggy Bag for Maclaren Strollers:
[...]before returning it, I called the Maclaren showroom in SoHo (NYC). A rep told me that there's only one way for the stroller to fit in the bag: WHEELS DOWN. I tried this, and had zero problems getting it in and zipping the bag. Now, why didn't I try different positions on my own? Maybe it's just progesterone-induced psychosis, but I just figured that the bag should be roomy enough to fit the stroller no matter what position it's placed. I should've asked my hubby to do it. He would've figured it out. Oh well! The point is that the bag does work according to it's intended purpose.[...]
