What a mother wants. What a baby needs. Inspired by the birth of his granddaughter Owen Maclaren invented an umbrella-fold baby buggy in 1965. With the success of his original idea Owen Maclaren decided to go into production and make his Baby Buggy available to the public in 1967. Soon production grew to nearly 600,000 Baby buggies, of which 280,000 were shipped over seas. The Maclaren business was growing fast and showed no sign of stopping, with new products coming out every year. Sadly, Owen Maclaren passed away in 1978, but not without leaving behind a great legacy and an amazing line of baby products. Despite the loss of its founder Maclaren continues to set the industry standards for innovation and safety of baby products.
Today, Maclaren Baby is one of the most reliable and dedicated baby stroller manufactures on the market. The Maclaren line has now taken on a more contemporary look with exciting new products including their twin strollers, and baby carriers. Their products continue to please every customer and every parent who owns one. Maclaren baby products are fashionable and safe for your child and will give your baby the comfort and protection it deserves. More on Maclaren...

Comments about Maclaren Mac Sac Backpack Diaper Bag in Storm Grey:
I chose this item primarily because my husband likes having a diaper bag that he doesn't mind being seen carrying. (In other words, I can't choose anything girly-looking.) He also prefers the back-pack style for comfort and convenience.
We're very pleased with this bag--it's big enough to hold a day's worth of diapers for both of our two kids, a change of clothes and sippy cups for each, and more. It's sturdy and well-made; I predict it will hold up for a solid four years with near-daily use--and possibly longer. It's comfy to wear and carry. My only criticism is the clip and draw-string entry to the bag--I think I'd prefer a simple zipper, personally. But that's far from being a deal-breaker.
In summary, if you need a spacious, tough bag that you can sling over your shoulder day in and day out, this is a good one to consider. If you're hoping for something cute and feminine that clearly says "diaper bag", this one probably won't do much for you.
