i got the combi play yard to visit the grandparents when my son was 4 months old. a friend gave me a graco pack 'n play, but it's not as well-made or as padded. the combi is high quality and good looking. it's for the parent who doesn't like all the cutesy baby stuff, disney characters, etc...but who still wants to be whimsical. the first time i tried to put it together, i struggled a bit, but by the second try i was an expert. that's all by myself, with no help from any mechanically-minded person. you need to put some muscle into it to put it together, but no more than carrying groceries or mopping the floor. it's very intuitive and you don't need to look at the instructions after the first time. what's really great about it is that the frame folds up, the mattress folds around the frame, and they both slip into a canvas bag with a shoulder strap for easy transport.
