Having owned a base model In-Step as well as a Burley D-Lite, this trailer better suits my needs. The cons are the extra weight and bulk of the solid bottom. However, I was aware of this before my purchase and was willing to tolerate these negatives for the extreme durability of the design. I wanted a trailer for heavy duty, everyday use. I was not disappointed. I do wish that Burley put 20" wheels on this model. But that would also make it wider since the 16" wheels fit under the fenders of the bottom. This trailer is apparently not very popular in the U.S. because of it's weight and folded size. But it is widely used in countries where bicycles are usually a primary source of transportation. If you want a really heavy duty trailer, look no further than the Burley Cub.
