This is our second Britax. We had the Marathon for our daughter, but had to move our son into it when he outgrew his infant seat. We looked at the Graco Nautilus, but chose the Britax because of our prior experience with the brand and because this one allowed our daughter to be belted using the harness to 80 pounds. We have this installed in a 1993 Taurus, with the Marathon rear-facing right next to it. The installation was somewhat challenging as our vehicle is not equipped with the latch system. Because of this, we had to "steal" a locking clip from our infant seat as the Frontier does NOT come with one. (Britax mentions in their material that you can call them for one, but we just couldn't be bothered.) It took both my husband and I to install the seat using the long belt path. Saying that, it wasn't terribly difficult. It just need the strength and extra hands offered by two people. You MUST adjust the seat with your child in it BEFORE you install it, which is the case with most seats--but most seats aren't quite as much work to install. My daughter loves the seat. She is comfortable and loves the side impact protection as it allows her to rest her head for naps. My only complaint is that the straps are thinner than on our other Britax--which means that they twist more easily and the bottom buckles get turned around. It's a quick fix, but just an annoyance. We haven't used the cup holders yet because of how we have it installed. This is not a seat to move between vehicles. It is quite heavy and it does take a bit of work to get properlly installed. It fits our needs, and we are happy we purchased it.
