About the Lemur Leaf Frog:
The Lemur Leaf frog, Phyllomedusa lemur was once considered fairly common at many mid-elevation areas in Costa Rica; yet in the last 20 years they have suffered drastic population declines, estimated to be more than 50% over the last three generations. In recent years, the species was thought to be almost extinct in Costa Rica, until a breeding site for the species was discovered in a remote area on the RÃo Banano slope of the Fila Asunción, Limón Province . Thanks to your purchase of the Endangered Species Stroller, BabyPlanet will make a yearly cash contribution to the Wildlife Conservation Society and donate $5 from each stroller sold.
